With support from the Verizon Foundation, for the past 10 months PBS FRONTLINE and the production team at "Digital Nation," have been exploring how digital media and the Web transformed virtually every aspect of the way we live. From the way we learn and work to the ways in which we socialize and even conduct war, nothing has had more of an impact on a single generation. But is the technology moving faster than we can adapt to it?



The answers to these questions will be explored in the broadcast premiere of PBS’s new multiplatform documentary “Digital Nation: Life on the Virtual Frontier,” which airs on Tuesday, Feb. 2, from 9 to 10:30 p.m. ET on PBS stations nationwide (check local listings).  The documentary presents an in-depth exploration of what it means to be human in a 21st-century digital world. Continuing a line of investigation began with the 2008 FRONTLINE report “Growing Up Online,” award-winning producer Rachel Dretzin embarks on a journey to understand the implications of living in a world consumed by technology and the impact that this constant connectivity may have on future generations.....</description>
